Wanting a desk without drawers, this was ideal. I love that it's STURDY, easy to assemble, looks CLASSY and has two shelves. It also has plenty of workspace for a laptop and writing area.

This is a very nice product. It is as described by the company and by the many positive reviews I read on Amazon. But, when I received it it was missing a wood part, the stretcher. In addition, one of the shelves had two minor scratches. I did not read of any other customer having a similar problem. So, did the company respond in a positive manner? Yep. In a week I received the missing part, a new shelf (I just asked for a touch-up marker), and small barrel nut that I lost. The 800 number that the seller provided me with got the job done. A little bit of advice, take your time with the directions and make sure you put the barrel nuts in the right space. They are a pain to get out if placed in the wrong hole. A fine product and a nice step up from the typical compressed wood like products that cost the same or more.

so far this desk seems rather sturdy. i love the finishing color and it was fairly easy to put together. i only had to have my husband help me once =)
my only complaint is that the shelves are not very tall. my school binder has to sit sideways to fit.
